Holiday!

I'm going on a lovely city break to Vienna this weekend and I can't wait! There's a few of us going for a ramble and an adventure because none of us have ever been to Austria and the flights were pretty cheap.

We're going for 5 days but only booked for hand baggage, so we're all struggling to pack all our stuff into one solitary bag! It's tough enough, but what's worse is that your hand luggage has to weigh no more than 10 kilos, and that's impossible to keep in with!

I'm going to wear my heavy clothes - my jeans, heavy trainers, hoodie and jacket even if it's cold, and pack away all my sandals, chinos t-shirts so I can keep the heaviest stuff away from my bag! Silly really, since it'll all be going on the plane, but what the hey - they make us do this dance!

Positive Thinking

One day I am going to check the lottoresultat and realise I have got the jackpot. And when I do I am going to go an a huge holiday, buy a nice house and also crack open a bottle of champagne!

You have to have a bit of hope - everyone should dream - if you don't then life is just not fun. For most dreams may not always happen but it is something to hold on to.

They always say positive thinking makes you happier and also makes you live longer!

It is all about positive thinking and a positive attitude! So here goes: I AM GOING TO WIN THE LOTTERY!

Learning from scratch

I've just spent a whopping amount of money and bought the Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection, and it comes with so much software I don't know what to do with it all!

I'm pretty adept at Photoshop and familiar with the various different video editing software in the package, but I need help with the rest, it's a lot of kit so I want to make the most of it!

I'm currently sat trawling through videos and vfx tutorials on YouTube to try and learn the basics and then the more advanced.

That's how I learnt most of the stuff I know on Photoshop - through hours of YouTube tutorials on all sorts! Now I'm a bit of a whizz at editing great looking photos, I just need to catch up with all the other programs.

Find the right broadband for you

Since being a student I have always been conscious of who I pay my money to for the likes of gas, electric, water, tv and internet. All to often when I first moved away from home I found myself paying a great deal for not very much and not having a clue or worse not knowing how I could even change.
Often you would call up a company and ask how they could make you a better offer than your current provider. But even then things aren’t clear. You find yourself in a sales trap where companies are simply peddling their wares. What might seem to be solid gold is often just gold plated and you are simply being screwed in other ways.
So, in learning from my past (often costly mistakes) I took to the internet to trawl for great comparison sites so that I could get the lowdown on exactly what everyone else is paying and what they are getting and how efficiently. Inspired, sadly by the annoying Compare the Mearcat adverts. An unfortunate inspiration yes, but a good one because it brought my search for broadband comparison sites brought me to Uswitch. A fantastic little site that is easy to use and has no obvious affiliations with any service providers and really does find you the best deals. Now if only I could find one for my gas and electric.

Daisy Green

Wearing ethical clothing and using green conscious cosmetics need not be a dreadfully unfashionable affair.
In recent years the ethical fashion and beauty market has seen a boom, partly spurred on the burgeoning recession and partly by the worlds new found (and highly welcomed) interest in conservation and staying green. Thankfully, the good people at Daisy Green spotted this growing market and sought to bring us all the latest in news, fashion updates and advice on everything ethical.
There online magazine website caters for only women at the moment though my sources do tell me that there are plans to move towards menswear too in the not too distant future.
Keep an eye open.
